Minda Coast Park

What is the project about?

A shared initiative between the South Australian Government and Adelaide’s six coastal councils, the Coast Park is a continuous two-way pedestrian and cyclist trail along the metropolitan Adelaide coastline. When complete, it will stretch from North Haven in the north to Sellicks Beach in the south.

The Minda Dunes Coast Park will be 500 metres long and 4 metres wide and is the last section to be built in the City of Holdfast Bay and will link our city from Kingston Park to Glenelg North. This crucial path will link our two Jetty Road Mainstreets in Glenelg and Brighton.

Final Plans

The completed detailed designs including the final surveying and engineering work were endorsed by Council on 10 July 2018.

Construction

Construction started in November 2018 with work to be completed by September 2019.
